Megyn Kelly is a popular voice in conservative media.

But a former friend wanted to silence her.

And Megyn Kelly was mad as hell over this woke attempt to cancel her.

As American Media Watch Dog reports:

Neve Trump pundit Ben Shapiro and CBS News chief Bari Weiss are trying to expel Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, and Steve Bannon from the conservative movement.

Shapiro raged about Kelly, Bannon, and Carlson during his speech at Turning Point USA’s AmFest conference.

In his speech, Shapiro attacked Carlson and Kelly as ‘cowards’ for not obeying his demand to condemn popular podcaster Candace Owens for trafficking in conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Weiss posted Shapiro’s speech to his Free Press website and repeated the attack on Kelly as a “coward” and a “conspiracy theorist.”

Kelly responded to both Shapiro and Weiss during an appearance at AmFest, explaining that Shapiro and Weiss’ real beef with her was over her criticism of Israel’s conduct in the war I Gaza.

“It’s about Israel. Those two are very pro-ardent Israel activists, which is fine, but they don’t get to dictate how the rest of us feel about Israel or what we do with respect to our friends and our friends’ opinions on Israel,” Kelly added.

Kelly argued that Shapiro and Weiss were just pretending to care about Owens’ conspiracies about Erika Kirk and singled out Weiss for special criticism.

“And I’ll tell you, you know, Bari Weiss couches herself as Erika’s protector, Erika’s defender. She’s retweeting the Ben speech, saying anybody who doesn’t call out conspiracy theorists is a coward. Erika Kirk barely knows Bari Weiss. Bari doesn’t know anything about Erika. Barry Weis has never been to a Turning Point event,” Kelly added.

Weiss is no conservative,

She is a homosexual liberal who quit her job as a New York Times columnist over the woke ideology consuming the newsroom.

Kelly pointed out that Weiss never considered herself part of the conservative movement or defended Charlie Kirk when the left attacked him as a racist and a Nazi.

“Do you guys remember her here? Standing up for what we believe in when Charlie was alive? I don’t remember her standing up for our principles. I don’t remember her defending Charlie the many times he was called a racist or an anti-semite. I really don’t remember that at all,” Kelly continued.

Kelly expressed her outrage at Weiss for ambushing Erika Kirk at a CBS town hall, where Weiss brought up the man who asked the question right before a pro-transgender terrorist assassinated Charlie to demand that Erika Kirk condemn Donald Trump.

“What I do remember is she had Erika Kirk come on one town hall in which Bari Weiss tried to play both super important VIP executive and super fabulous star anchor at her new network, CBS. Pro tip, Bari — that’s no way to win friends at your new organization,” Kelly went on to say.

“To try to steal all the hosting abilities of the on-air talent. So good luck with that. And what she did when she had Erika there was to have the nerve to bring on the man who asked the final question of Charlie right before he got shot to put Erika in the position of having to defend whether Trump uses hateful rhetoric. The nerve!” Kelly concluded.

Shapiro and Weiss both opposed Donald Trump.

Their attempts to excommunicate Kelly, Carlson, and Bannon from the GOP are about trying to shape the post-Trump Republican Party by canceling anyone who wants to debate Israel policy.
