Fox News can be just as critical of President Trump as CNN.

Trump found that out once again.

And Donald Trump is going to hate what this Fox News star just said about him.

President Trump campaigned on an America First foreign policy to avoid disastrouns endless regime change wars in the Middle East like the debacles in Iraq and Afghanistan.

But Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch is a globalist committed to the U.S. military brining demoracy to the Middle East.

Thus, Fox News stars attacked Trump for not ordering a military strike against Iran to topple the Ayatollah’s regime, and instead pursuing diplomacy to end Iran’s nuclear program.

Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume claimed Trump would look weak if he didnt’t follow through by launching a regime change war against Iran after promising protestors that “help was on the way.”

“I think the president’s in a predicament here, John. I think, you know, he told Iran, told the Iranian authorities not to attack the people when they were protesting,” Hume began.

“And, you know, he’d warned them not to do it. He said if-, that what might come if they did would be worse than what happened before when they took out a big piece of their nuclear capabilities. So he’s in a situation where, you know, he needs to do something,” Hume said to host John Roberts.

“And the idea that there’ll be some kind of nuclear negotiation now with a country that has proven itself time and time again untrustworthy in such negotiations seems to me that will leave him with a lot of people thinking he came up short,” Hume continued.

Roberts then played a clip of Barack Obama setting a redline of Syria using chemical weapons against its people.

Syria deployed chemical weapons, but Obama backed down on going to war after massive public opposition.

Polls show 70 percent of Americans oppose military strikes on Iran.

Hume ignored that to claim America would lack a deterrent against foreign enemies unless Trump went to war with Iran.

“Well, I think the worry has to be, John, that very thing and the fact that, you know, a pillar of our defense strategy is now and has long been the establishment and maintaining a deterrent,” Hume stated.

Hume baselssly claimed no one would respect America’s military unless Trump launched a war against Iran.

“People looking at you and saying, ‘We don’t want to mess with them because, you know, they have force, they have a lot of it, and they’re willing to use it.’ And when you threaten to use, and then when something happens that you’ve warned against, and you don’t use it… “ Hume went on to say.

Hume then told Roberts that not going to war in Iran could be as big a mistake as Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“Think about this, think about, you know, Joe Biden pulls out of Afghanistan, and the next thing you know, Russia marches into Ukraine. So the consequences for this kind of thing can be quite serious, and this president has shown himself willing to do things in the past,” Hume concluded.

Russia invaded Ukraine following the Afghanistan withdrawal because of the chaos on the ground.

Trump called off military strikes against Iran because a regime-change war threatened to unleash similar chaos across the Middle East.

Iran would fall into a civil war, and Shiite Muslims in the Middle East could launch uprisings against Sunni governments in Saudi Arabia and other allied countries.

Americans elected Donald Trump to avoid foreign wars.

Fox News is trying to drag Trump into the type of conflict he promised voters he would avoid.
