President Trump pledged to drain the swamp.
There was only one place to start.
And Donald Trump has Kash Patel one bold order that put the fear of God in the deep state.
As Swamp Digest reports:
President Trump shared a Just the News article on Truth Social about how an anti-Trump FBI agent helped ignite Operation: Arctic Frost, an investigation by the Biden FBI to jail Trump for life and dismantle the entire Republican Party’s political operations by targeting fundraising firms, think tanks, members of Congress, and the Trump campaign.
As part of Operation: Arctic Frost, special counsel Jack Smith spied on members of Congress by seizing phone records.
Trump demanded that Director Patel fire every FBI agent involved in this attempt to obliterate the political opposition to the Democratic Party.
“These FBI Agents are total Scum, in their own way no better than the insurrectionists in Portland, Minnesota, Los Angeles, etc. Kash better get them out, NOW! Radical Left Lunatics put in by the “Auto Pen” and Obama!” Trump wrote.
Special Agent Timothy Thibault reportedly peppered his colleagues with fake news media articles from liberal outlets to pressure them into investigating Trump following the events of January 5.
“He also circulated by email clippings from such anti-Trump outlets as Just Security, NPR, and The Washington Post, pushing for a criminal probe of Trump related to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, the memos show…
Thibault also sought to promote media coverage from outlets with left-leaning perspectives, such as NPR, as well as podcasts produced by The Daily Beast. The focus of these articles was Trump’s alleged crimes and efforts to overturn the election,” Just the News reported.
Just the News reported that Thibault demanded the FBI add Trump to the investigation on the initial “Operation: Arctic Frost” launch documents.
“When Thibault’s colleagues originally drafted the investigation’s launch document to focus on the Trump campaign and affiliated and still unknown subjects, “Add DJT” was scribbled onto the draft memo. Emails indicate Thibault was pushing to add Trump to the investigative launch document,” Just the News also reported,
Thibault also pushed a piece by left-wing law professor Barb McQuade published in Just Security, where she outlined what an indictment of Trump for January 6 would look like.
“The following memorandum is a model ‘prosecution memo’ analyzing potential charges against former President Donald Trump for his efforts to pressure Mike Pence to abuse his authority as vice president in an attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election on Jan. 6, 2021,” McQuade wrote.
In an email, Thibault outlined how the FBI was putting together the predicate to investigate the Trump campaign.
“What we are doing: Aggressively seeking out open-source information, HUMINT [human intelligence] info that could predicate a case.” Thibault wrote, adding that “we have, over the past month, been actively collaborating” with the FBI’s Washington Field Office on an investigation that would “continue open conversations with” FBI leadership “on what, if anything, we find.”
Even if this investigation didn’t result in criminal charges, it would allow the FBI to spy on the Republican Party’s political operation.
Thibault went on to say that “if nothing else, we want to be a resource for them if they have questions about the inner working of federal political campaigns (in-kind contributions, law prohibiting foreign contributions, straw donor campaigns, and Super PACs/dark money).”
So far, Kash Patel has only fired 138 FBI agents.
BREAKING: @FBI leadership fired no more than 138 employees (“other separations”) since January 20, 2025, according to official OPM data. Of the 3,063 FBI employees who left FBI employment since President Trump came back to office, most retired (872) or quit (980). The FBI has… pic.twitter.com/EcjN40KOxN
