Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is facing a crisis.

This is the nightmare scenario.

And Pete Hegseth uncovered one nuclear threat that will scare the hell out of every American.

For one week in mid-March, forces of Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana detected a swarm of unidentified drones flying overhead.

“Barksdale Air Force Base detected multiple unauthorized drones operating in our airspace during the week of March 9th,” a statement to ABC News from Capt. Hunter Rininger of the 2nd Bomb Wing read.

The drones were more advanced than the garden variety unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that Americans can buy online, nor were they of the commercial variety.

“Between March 9-15, 2026, BAFB Security Forces observed multiple waves of 12-15 drones operating over sensitive areas of the installation, including the flight line, with aircraft displaying non-commercial signal characteristics, long-range control links and resistance to jamming,” the statement added. “After reaching multiple points across the installation, the drones dispersed across sensitive locations on the base.”

These high-tech drones had all the makings of a foreign intelligence or military operation.

For Pete Hegseth and the Department of War, this could represent an existential crisis.

Barksdale’s strategic importance to America’s nuclear forces made the drone incursion even more alarming.

“The sighting raised concerns because Barksdale houses long-range B-52 bombers and plays a critical role in command and control of the Air Force nuclear defense capabilities,” ABC also reported.

Unidentified drones were also spotted flying over Fort McNair, the military base where Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were living due to threats on their lives.

“U.S. officials detected unidentified drones above the Washington Army base where Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth live, according to three people briefed on the situation. Officials have not determined where they came from, two of the people said, according to a Washington Post report.

President Trump is managing a war effort abroad.

But now, thanks to past presidents like Joe Biden and Barack Obama opening the border and ignoring the threat of Communist China, hostile forces have infiltrated America and may be plotting horrific attacks beyond anyone’s worst nightmare.
