And now Trump just steamrolled this disloyal RINO over an ugly SAVE Act betrayal.

President Trump already ousted RINO Senator Bill Cassidy over Cassidy’s voting to convict Trump in the January 6 impeachment hoax.

Trump made it 2 for 2 in booting RINOs from the Senate when his endorsed candidate, Texas State Attorney General Ken Paxton, obliterated RINO incumbent John Cornyn by 28 points in a runoff, ending Cornyn’s 24-year career in the Senate.

Cornyn wrote Joe Biden’s bill that funded red flag gun confiscation laws.

Cornyn announced he was running for another term to ram amnesty for tens of millions of illegal aliens through Congress.

Cornyn declared President Trump unelectable after Trump announced he was running for re-election.

But the final nail in the coffin for Cornyn came when Paxton announced after the March 3 primary, when no candidate cleared the 50% mark and set up the runoff, that he would drop out of the race if Cornyn would support eliminating the filibuster so the Senate could pass the SAVE Act.

President Trump placed the SAVE Act at the center of his agenda because it mandates voter ID, bans mail-in voting, and requires proof of citizenship to register to vote.

“The Save America Act is the most important bill the U.S. Senate could ever pass, and I’m committed to helping President Trump get it done. I would consider dropping out of this race if Senate Leadership agrees to lift the filibuster and passes the SAVE America Act,” Paxton wrote on X.

President Trump gave RINO Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) a chance to save Cornyn by agreeing to round up the votes to eliminate the filibuster in exchange for endorsing Cornyn.

“Trump dangled a Cornyn endorsement to convince Senate Republicans to gut the filibuster and pass the SAVE America Act,” Punch Bowl News reported.

Thune refused.

So with one week to go before the runoff, Trump endorsed Paxton, pointing out that Paxton had always been loyal to him on the SAVE Act.

“The Highly Respected Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton, an American First Patriot, and someone who has always been extremely loyal to me and our AMAZING MAGA MOVEMENT, is running for the United States Senate, to represent a place I love and WON, BIG, three times, with 6.4 Million Votes in 2024 (The Most Votes in the History of the State, BY FAR)!

I know Ken well, have seen him tested at the highest and most difficult levels, and he is a WINNER! Ken is a Strong Supporter of TERMINATING THE FILIBUSTER and, very importantly, the Save America Act, something which polls at 87%, including Democrats, and yet can’t seem to get approved,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

And just like all the other RINOs that tried to obstruct Trump’s agenda, Cronyn got crushed in a primary by a Trump-backed challenger.
