The swamp rose against President Trump.

Attempts at sabotage never end.

And Donald Trump faced one unthinkable ultimatum that left him red with rage.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard resigned after doctors diagnosed her husband with a rare form of bone cancer.

Gabbard exposed the deep state’s darkest secrets by declassifying documents that showed Barack Obama ordered the Russian collusion hoax and that Ukraine laundered American taxpayer money into Joe Biden’s re-election campaign.

To replace Gabbard, Trump nominated another administration official who built a reputation for taking on the swamp, Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency and Chairman of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, William J. Pulte.

“I am appointing the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency and Chairman of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, William J. Pulte, to serve as Acting Director of National Intelligence. William has deep experience managing the most sensitive matters in America, the safety and soundness of the Markets, and over 10 Trillion Dollars at Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, a substantial increase from where it was just 12 months ago. During this period, he will remain Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency and Chairman of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac. Congratulations to Director Pulte! Trump posted to Truth Social.

Pulte recommended Adam Schiff and Letitia James for criminal prosecution on allegations of mortgage fraud.

And longtime Trump advisor Roger Stone argued Pulte was one official Trump could count on to continue Gabbard’s declassification push.

Semafor reported that “ Stone and other Trump allies see Pulte’s attack-dog mentality as critical in waging an internal war to ramp up the declassification of sensitive information.”

The swamp instantly revolted, which proved that Trump was correct that Pulte represented a threat to the Deep State.

Democrat Senator from Virginia Mark Warner, the ranking member on the Senate Intelligence Committee, told Senate Majority Leader John Thune that unless Thune forced Trump to withdraw the Pulte nomination, Democrats wouldn’t provide the votes to reauthorize Section 702 of the FISA Act, which allows the government to spy on Americans without a warrant.

“Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chair Mark Warner (D-Va.) asked Senate Majority Leader John Thune on Tuesday to use his influence with the White House to reverse Trump’s move to install Pulte as overseer of the nation’s 18 intelligence agencies, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.

Warner, who’s been critical in building Democratic support for a bipartisan deal to extend FISA Section 702, made clear to Thune that all options are on the table to reverse what Democrats see as a dangerous Trump pick to lead ODNI. Pulte, who currently leads the Federal Housing Finance Agency, has no national security experience and has used his existing role to exact revenge on Trump’s political foes,” Punchbowl News reported.

This threat made conservatives support Pulte even more due to their opposition to the illegal warrantless wiretapping program in the first place.

RINOs also lined up against Pulte.

“I don’t think he has a prayer,” anti-Trump Senator Thom Tillis told reporters.

“Whoever told the president to go ahead and commit to this publicly before vetting it should lose their job, because they should know that the math just works against Pulte being confirmed,” Tillis added.

The swamp is livid over the Pulte appointment, and that is always a good sign for Trump supporters.
