The SAVE Act is the foundation of President Trump’s election integrity agenda.

But Trump received some bad news about the bill.

And Trump said he watched with tears in his eyes as one betrayal derailed the SAVE Act.

Trump fumed over the fact that House and Senate RINOs colluded with socialist Senator Elizabeth Warren to pass a housing bill larded up with the Democrat Paryt’s political priorities while allowing Democrats to block the SAVE Act using the filibuster.

Republicans allowed Democrats to tuck a slush fund into the bill that funneled taxpayer money to slumnlords and left-wing “nonprofits” that would prop up Section 8 housing in GOP suburbs.

The President called on Republicans to nuke the filibuster, correctly pointing out that the first day the Democrats win back power, they will terminate the filibuster and transform America into a one-party socialist country through court packing and adding multiple new Democrat states.

“The Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas Warren centric housing bill, which is of minor importance compared to lower interest rates, and even FISA, pales in comparison to passing THE SAVE AMERICA ACT. That is what Americans, both Democrats, Republicans, and everyone else, care about. Get the bad Republicans to approve it, or, better yet, terminate the Filibuster and approve it, AND EVERYTHING ELSE REPUBLICANS HAVE EVER DREAMED OF. The Dumocrats will do it in hour one, 100%. Republicans will feel very stupid if they don’t do it first. I’ll be watching with tears in my eyes!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump then played his ace in the hole.

Congress thought they had Trump backed into a corner by passing the bill with a massive margin.

Republicans and Democrats wanted a big, showy signing ceremony they could turn into campaign commercials about how they allegedly addressed housing affordability.

Trump said not so fast and announced on Truth Social that he was canceling the singing ceremony until Republicans passed the SAVE Act.

“Today’s Housing News Conference and Signing is hereby cancelled until we pass the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT, which I consider to be a National Emergency. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump also posted.

Trump then made his case directly to the Senate GOP caucus.

But RINO Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) refused to do his job and round up the votes to scrap the filibuster.

“I’m not sure what the takeaway was for [Trump] regarding that, but I think it’s fair to say that we’ve made the point several times that we don’t have the votes,” Thune told reporters. “But that’s not a conclusion, obviously, he would like to see us draw. But it’s what I have to say.” 

The SAVE Act would secure elections by mandating nationwide voter ID, requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote, and banning mail-in voting.

Trump and millions of his supporters keep asking themselves why Senate Republicans would oppose passing this bill.
