Vance Defends Trump Admin’s H1B Visa Crackdown

The H1B visa program is a scam that employers, mainly in Big Tech, exploit to import cheap foreign labor, mainly from India and China, that freezes Americans out of work where they could earn a good wage.

Since the H1B program technically forces employers to open jobs to Americans, Tech companies will post job openings in obscure publications that list positions only a foreign worker in the H1B program can fill.

Companies then hand the jobs to foreigners they pay dramatically less than Americans.

The Trump administration is cracking down on the H1B program by adding a $100,000 fee for H1B visas, a move designed to increase the price of employers using the program to the point where it now makes sense to hire Americans.

Vice President JD Vance defended the new rule, simply stating that American corporations should hire American workers.

“If an American corporation needs workers, it should hire and train Americans,” Vance wrote on X.

Big Tech Shows Its True Colors

Ankit Gupta, a general partner at the Silicon Valley startup accelerator Y Combinator, exposed how tech barons really see Americans as disposable cogs when he responded to Vance’s post by claiming the Trump administration wanted “DEI” for Americans.

“In a win for the woke left, DEI is back,” Gupta posted.

The backlash was so fierce that Gupta made his account private.

Vance’s fellow Trump administration officials explained why it was so important to end the H1B visa scam.

 “Ankit Gupta thinks hiring Americans first — in America — is ‘DEI.’ No, Ankit. It’s called putting your own citizens first. American companies. American jobs. American workers first. If that offends you, the problem isn’t America. It’s your sense of entitlement,” Labor Department Inspector General Anthony D’Esposito shot back.

“Y Combinator is a supposed champion of “Little Tech” but perhaps they’re nothing more than a front for the far left. I’m deeply uncomfortable with wealthy investors attacking American workers like this. I’m afraid it’s increasingly obvious to many people that individuals such as this guy do not have the best interests of America and her citizens in mind. The purpose of the American economy is to promote the general welfare of American workers, not provide jobs for the rest of the world,” FTC Chairman Andrew Feruson posted.

“Our federal (and most state) employment laws mandate a level playing field for American workers vis-à-vis foreigners — yet many American tech (and other) companies prefer to hire cheaper/exploitable foreign workers to do routine jobs Americans could do, and they do this by failing to post jobs on their normal hiring channels (PERM violations), letting foreign-born hiring managers pipeline cheap foreign labor from body-shop mills over American workers (H1-B abuses), lie about their eligibility for no-cap H1-B hiring, abuse other visa categories such as J-1 visas (we see you, universities!), abuse OPT hiring to get cheap, exploitable foreign labor, and sometimes — getting super arrogant, gaslight laid-off and sidelined Americans while doing any of the above,” Department of Justice Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon posted on X.
