The mistrial in the Lindsey Clancy murder case outraged millions of Americans.

Now the case has a new twist.

And Lindsey Clancy’s lawyer just begged Trump to make one shocking move.

Lindsey Clancy’s Lawyer Asks Trump for a Pardon

11 jurors – 9 of them female – refused to convict Clancy for strangling her three children to death in 2023 after Clancy claimed she suffered from postpartum depression.

One of the women jurors later told the media that the one holdout male juror “had the hardest time getting over the fact that Lindsey viciously killed her children.”

The failure to convict Clancy struck tens of millions of Americans as everything wrong with today’s culture of feminism and deference to so-called “mental health” issues where women are told they are victims of society.

In an interview on ABC’s Good Morning America, Clancy’s lawyer Kevin Reddington took the shocking step of asking President Trump to step in and pardon Clancy.

“I’d like to say that perhaps Donald Trump, who felt compelled to speak out about this case, may very well — Mr. President, I would hope that you would consider this young lady the type of the person she is, what she’s been through, and consider a pardon,” Reddington declared.

Reddington also summed up everything wrong with this outcome in the eyes of the public when he claimed it was Clancy’s life that was “ruined,” making her the center of the story as opposed to the three dead children.

What Reddington is Up To

Trump can’t pardon Clancy as she faces state charges, but experts said Reddington was asking Trump for a pardon to induce Trump to comment on the case so he could argue a tainted jury pool if the prosecution wanted to put Clancy on trial again or to influence plea negotiations.

“There isn’t going to be a pardon for the simple reason there is no mechanism by law which would allow said pardon,”  Mark Bederow, a New York City-based criminal defense attorney, said in an interview with Fox News.

“This is a very credible, skilled lawyer, and these comments, I think, lack credibility,” Bederow added. “In some level, they lack seriousness because we know it, it’s not going to happen — so I don’t see the advantage of giving an interview where the only thing people are talking about is Lindsay Clancy’s attorney is seeking a pardon or intervention from the president of the United States in the Massachusetts state case.”

“I think he knows that this will publicly agitate this entire case and perhaps be beneficial to him in plea negotiations with the district attorney,” Los Angeles-based criminal defense attorney Josh Ritter told Fox News Digital. “I think he even feels that it benefits him even if Trump doesn’t entertain it — it creates more kind of political pressure for people in the state of Massachusetts who don’t support Trump.”
