The plot against Musk was worse than anyone could imagine.

And the deep state targeted Elon Musk for prison in this sick scheme.

DOGE Makes Musk a Deep State Target

Even after President Trump won re-election, the FBI was still devising avenues of attack against his administration and supporters.

Elon Musk became public enemy number one to the left for his financial support for Trump in 2024 and his role as the head of DOGE, an agency that fired left-wing activists embedded in the bureaucracy and shut down agencies like USAID, which served as the financial conduit to leftist nonprofits and tens of billions of dollars in taxpayer money.

When Musk ran DOGE, he posted on X that all federal employees were required to email a list of five things they got done the previous week, and that failure to do so would be treated as a resignation.

“Consistent with President @realDonaldTrump’s instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week. Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation,” Musk wrote.

FBI Tries to Investigate Musk for a Crime Over DOGE Email

Former Special Agent Kevin Gounaud emailed a colleague that he would like to use this social media post as the pretext to open a criminal investigation into Musk

“I would like to recommend the opening of a criminal 58 matter on the person(s) at OPM who approved the transmission of the earlier email,” Gounaud wrote. “That person in conspiracy with Elon Musk (who is reportedly an [Special Government Employee]), in addition to wasting a colossal amount of official time, encouraged, abetted, aided, etc. thousands if not tens of thousands of government employees outside of a strict need to know.”

“Happy to write the case opening and find a prosecutor (or at least try),” Gounaud added.

“And no, I’m not kidding,” Gounaud continued.

Gounaud’s ludicrous legal theory was that since Musk’s X account was monetized, he ran afoul of federal laws against personal enrichment for government officials and that the threat of termination if employees didn’t comply with sending an email listing five things they did last week amounted to blackmail.

Chuck Grassley Keeps Exposing the Deep State

No Senator’s done more to expose the deep state’s conspiracies against Trump than Iowa’s Chuck Grassley.

Grassley previously released documents showing how Jack Smith leveraged the January 6 hoax to spy on Republicans in Congress and dismantle the entire Republican Party.

In a statement accompanying this latest document dump, Grassley fumed that 10 years after Trump first won office, his investigation was just scratching the surface of the FBI’s machinations against Trump.

“For almost a decade now, I’ve made records public showing how a number of now discredited law enforcement and intelligence officials schemed to take out Trump and other Republicans. And here we are, in 2026, still finding records from years ago showing even more evidence of targeting,” Grassley stated.

“The overall sustained efforts by the Deep State in the dark corners of the bureaucracy is worse than anything Trump has been accused of. At least he’s upfront and open so people can judge,” Grassley added.
