Democrats tried to turn the Epstein files into a scandal.
President Trump knew exactly what was going to happen.
And Trump told Tucker Carlson the Epstein secret that was his worst nightmare.
Trump Called Out Democrats for the Epstein Files Hoax
President Trump repeatedly blasted the Epstein files as a “Democrat hoax.”
Democrats and their note takers in the fake news media twisted those comments into Trump trying to claim Epstein and his crimes were hoax.
The left ran wild with this narrative as they tried to claim Trump didn’t want to release the Epstein files to hide the true nature of his relationship with Epstein.
But nothing could have been further from the truth.
And none other than Tucker Carlson, who has broken with Trump over the Iran War, confirmed Trump’s real thoughts on Epstein.
Carlson told Vanity Fair that when he and Trump were still on speaking terms, he made the case to Trump to release all the files.
“My position from the beginning with Trump, I said it to Trump, was, ‘I don’t understand why you would ever keep any of this stuff secret.’ And I got like a bunch of different answers.” Carlson said, adding that: “I don’t feel any need to cover for Epstein. So I said, ‘You shouldn’t either.’ In the end, it came from Trump directly.”
Trump’s Real Thoughts on the Epstein Files
Trump initially opposed a bill that Democrats and Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie pushed through to force the release of the Epstein files.
Carlson asked Trump why that was, and Trump explained that what he meant by the Epstein file being a “Democrat hoax” is that Democrats would weaponize the files to create a new fake scandal surrounding Epstein, as Hillary Clinton did in paying for the Steele dossier, which led to the Russia collusion hoax.
“The order to cover it up came from Trump. I asked him why. And he gave me this long, very emotional explanation that this was all a plot against him, like Russiagate,” Carlson stated.
The White House responded to Vanity Fair’s story with a statement reiterating that Trump was correct, the released files contained nothing incriminating about him and Epstein, and that the real scandal was Epstein’s connections to prominent liberals like Bill Gates, Larry Summers and Bill Clinton.
“Just as President Trump has said, he’s been totally exonerated on anything relating to Epstein. And by releasing thousands of pages of documents, cooperating with the House Oversight Committee’s subpoena request, signing the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and calling for more investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends, President Trump has done more for Epstein’s victims than anyone before him,” the statement read.
“This is a Democrat hoax that never ends! You know, it reminds me a little of the Kennedy situation. We gave him everything, over and over again, more and more, and nobody’s ever satisfied,”
