And Adam Schiff is plotting one Trump impeachment hoax that is the worst one yet.

The RealClearPolitics polling average of the generic ballot, which asks Americans which party they want to see in Congress, currently shows Democrats leading Republicans by 4.7%.

Although the elections are eight months away, a lifetime in politics, Democrats are already starting to scheme for which hoaxes they will cook up to try to impeach Trump.

Axios reported that some Democrats are looking at deals colleges, law firms, and corporations cut with the Trump administration to drop DEI programs in exchange for not facing civil rights lawsuits.

“House and Senate Democrats are starting to have preliminary discussions to coordinate potential congressional investigations into companies, colleges, and law firms in the next Congress,” Axios reported.

Axios reported that Adam Schiff is at the center of these talks.

Axios also admitted Democrats are engaging in a pure fishing expedition with no real evidence of any wrongdoing.

“Democrats want to know how and why major institutions — including billionaires, major law firms and universities — chose to cooperate with the Trump administration, according to people familiar with the conversations.

That could include everything from donations for the East Wing renovation to funding agreements involving universities,” Axios reported.

Schiff is also dreaming up a new set of impeachment hoaxes about the Epstein files and Trump acquiring a new Air Force One plane from Qatar that has already amounted to nothing.

“A Schiff spokesperson pointed to a batch of FOIA requests the California Democrat filed late last year to the DOJ, which sought information on 12 topics. These included Jeffry Epstein’s bank records and Trump accepting a Qatari plane as a gift. Schiff filed those requests with White House and Blumenthal to break the administration’s “stonewalling,” Axios also reported.

If Democrats win Congress, this report from Axios makes clear their intention isn’t to try to improve the lives of the American people.

Democrats’ singular focus is on destroying President Trump and ensuring Trump can’t implement any of his agenda during his final two years in office.

Once again, Adam Schiff sits at the center of this three-ring circus.

But Democrats should remember history.

All the impeachment hoaxes and lawfare they waged against President Trump only made him more popular by turning him into a sympathetic figure and paving the way for his return to the White House for a second term.

If Democrats pursue impeachment as their top agenda item in 2027, it could backfire in 2028 and help once again elect a Republican President.
