Country music has always been a safe genre for Republican politicians.

Not anymore.

And one country music star just dragged Trump through the mud with this insane attack.

When President Trump campaigned in 2024, he promised to hold a Great American State Fair to celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday.

The Freedom 250 Concert on the National Mall, from June 25 to July 10, became central to this celebration.

Organizers announced a slate of musical acts.

As soon as the slate of artists set to perform became public, the online woke mob accused them of celebrating fascism.

One by one, musical acts dropped out.

Bret Michaels, Young MC, The Commodores, Morris Day and the Time, and Milli Vanilli all announced they wouldn’t perform at the event after feeling pressure from their liberal friends.

Even Sarah McBride, who performs the theme song for Sean Hannity’s radio show, announced she was pulling out of the concert based on vague claims that she didn’t know it was partisan.

“I would like to talk to you and clear the air,” McBride wrote on social media. “I will not be performing at the Great American State Fair on June 25th. I was presented with an opportunity to perform at a nonpartisan event, but that turned out to be misleading.” 

“I saw it as just a bigger version of so many state fairs I have performed at over the years, celebrating community and what makes each state special. Sounds fun, right? Wholesome, even. Yesterday, things started changing, and what we were told is, in fact, not what is happening,” McBride added.

“I’ve spent my entire career singing songs about real people with real voices. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be a voice for those who have felt like they didn’t have one,” McBride concluded. “It greatly upsets me that any fan whose music has moved them may now feel like I’m abandoning the meaning behind those songs. I assure you that is not the case. I appreciate every single fan who has reached out. I hope to get back to the D.C. area very soon.”

President Trump swooped in to rescue the event and announced he would headline a rally to celebrate America’s birthday.

“I understand Artists are getting “the yips” having to do with their performance on Wednesday, so I am thinking about bringing the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World, the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime, and he does so without a guitar, the man who loves our Country more than anyone else, and the man who some say is the Greatest President in History (THE GOAT!), DONALD J. TRUMP, to take the place of these highly paid, Third Rate “Artists,” and give a major speech, rallying the Country forward like I have done ever since being President!” Trump wrote.

“Two years ago, the United States was DEAD. Now we have the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World. I don’t want so-called “Artists” who get paid far too much money, who aren’t happy. I only want to be surrounded by Happy People, Smart People, Successful People, and People who know how to WIN. So, by copy of this TRUTH, I am ordering my Representatives to look at the feasibility of doing an AMERICA IS BACK Rally on Wednesday, Washington, D.C., same time, same location. Only Great Patriots invited — It will be a Wild and Beautiful Celebration of America!” Trump concluded.
