Democrats thought they could recreate their 2020 playbook and manufacture election year chaos.

But Democrats never counted on President Trump pulling this surprise move.

And Donald Trump issued one warning that stopped Democrats cold in their tracks.

Gavin Newsom allowed Los Angeles to descend into war-torn chaos last summer by looking the other way as Antifa terrorists attacked ICE agents carrying out mass deportation operations.

President Trump federalized the California National Guard to protect ICE facilities, which allowed agents to continue arresting illegal aliens for deportation.

Trump also called up the guard in Oregon and Chicago in response to Antifa militants ambushing ICE agents and laying siege to ICE facilities.

Newson led an onslaught of Democrat lawsuits.

And the Supreme Court handed down a 6-3 decision temporarily blocking Trump from deploying the National Guard in those three states.

Instead of appealing the ruling, President Trump announced he was pulling the guard from California, Oregon, and Illinois.

“We are removing the National Guard from Chicago, Los Angeles, and Portland, even though CRIME has been greatly reduced by having these great Patriots in those cities, and ONLY by that fact. Portland, Los Angeles, and Chicago were GONE if it weren’t for the Federal Government stepping in,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Gavin Newsom built his profile as the frontrunner for the 2028 Democratic Party Presidential nomination by attacking Trump at every turn on social media.

Newsom seized on Trump’s announcement to troll the President.

“We won in court and forced him to. Trump’s rambling here is the political version of “you can’t fire me, I quit,” Newsom’s press office’s X account posted.

But Newsom ignored the second half of Trump’s post, where the President warned Democrats the military would return in a “much stronger form” to restore law and order to sanctuary cities.

“We will come back, perhaps in a much different and stronger form, when crime begins to soar again – Only a question of time! It is hard to believe that these Democrat Mayors and Governors, all of whom are greatly incompetent, would want us to leave, especially considering the great progress that has been made???” Trump added.

Democrats didn’t pay much attention to Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s footnote in the National Guard opinion.

That case turned on the phrasing of a statute that said the President could federalize the National Guard only when deploying “regular forces” had failed.

Kavanaugh explained that this meant Trump could federalize the National Guard only if regular military forces weren’t sufficient to quell an uprising.

Trump can now trigger the Insurrection Act and deploy the Marines to sanctuary cities to guard ICE facilities.

For Democrats, this Supreme Court ruling may end up as a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire.
