Attorney General Pam Bondi found out she was in the hot seat.

Bondi failed President Trump in the worst way.

And now the knives are out for Pam Bondi after Trump held one secret meeting.

President Trump and many of his supporters have soured on Attorney General Pam Bondi.

CNN reported that Trump was considering replacing Bondi with Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin.

“The idea of replacing Bondi with Zeldin first arose in January, then subsided as Epstein coverage slipped from the news cycle, sources said. Some senior officials in the DOJ believed that the year-long headache of the Epstein files was finally behind them, a source said. But word that Trump wanted to replace Bondi with Zeldin began to circulate again in the West Wing on Monday,” CNN reported.

But Trump’s plan to oust Bondi was further along than anyone imagined.

POLITICO’s Dasha Burn reported that Trump met with Zeldin about taking the job and planned to fire Bondi “imminently.”

“A person familiar with the situation tells me that Pam Bondi will be out as AG imminently, confirming scoops from  @CNN and  @nytimes.

When Trump met EPA boss Lee Zeldin on Tuesday to discuss last year’s California wildfires, Trump also discussed the potential of tapping him for the AG role, a person close to the WH tells me,” Burns wrote on X.

Trump’s frustration with Bondi was twofold.

First, Bondi botched the Epstein files.

In February 2025, Bondi told Fox News the Epstein client list was “on her desk.”

The Department of Justice then released a memo claiming the client list didn’t exist, that Epstein killed himself despite never recovering the noose he supposedly committed suicide with,  and that no one else would be prosecuted for Epstein’s sex trafficking scheme.

Epstein was a Democrat who cavorted with other Democrats, including Bill Gates, Larry Summers, and Bill Clinton.

But Bondi’s bungling made it look like a cover-up and took all the attention away from Epstein’s Democrat connections.

Even Trump Chief of Staff Susie Wiles admitted Bondi “completely whiffed” on the Epstein files.

Second, Bondi failed to prosecute the Deep State conspirators who concocted the Russia collusion hoax and rigged the 2020 election.

Trump expressed his displeasure with Bondi’s inaction in a Truth Social post last September, which he intended as a direct message.

“Pam: I have reviewed over 30 statements and posts saying that, essentially, “same old story as last time, all talk, no action. Nothing is being done. What about Comey, Adam “Shifty” Schiff, Leticia??? They’re all guilty as hell, but nothing is going to be done.” Then we almost put in a Democrat supported U.S. Attorney in Virginia, with a really bad Republican past. A Woke RINO, who was never going to do his job. That’s why two of the worst Dem Senators PUSHED him so hard. He even lied to the media and said he quit, and that we had no case. No, I fired him, and there is a GREAT CASE, and many lawyers and legal pundits say so. Lindsey Halligan is a really good lawyer and likes you a lot. We can’t delay any longer; it’s killing our reputation and credibility. They impeached me twice and indicted me (5 times!), OVER NOTHING. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!!” Trump wrote on Truth.

It looks like in Bondi’s case, she won’t even get a chance for a third strike.
