Democrats’ endless lawfare against President Trump suffered a major setback.

Trump breathed a sigh of relief.

And the Supreme Court delivered Trump one victory that sent the left reeling into rage.

Supreme Court Allows Ballroom Construction to Continue

One of President Trump’s major projects in his second term was an East Wing renovation to build a ballroom to host social functions.

Even members of the media and former Obama administration officials admitted that the White House needed a larger, more secure setting to host events.

But leftists are so consumed by their Trump Derangement that National Trust for Historic Preservation member Alison Hoagland sued, claiming the sight of the construction on the East Wing offended her sensibilities.

The D.C. Circuit Court issued a ruling blocking construction.

However, a 5-4 Supreme Court decision reversed that order, allowing construction to continue.

The unsigned majority opinion ruled Hoagland didn’t have standing to simply because of a temper tantrum over Trump building a ballroom.

“This Court has not found standing in circumstances like these before,” the opinion reads. “To the contrary, we have repeatedly held that mere offense, disagreement, or distaste does not qualify.”

Trump Celebrates the Victory

Trump was thrilled to see common sense prevail in this case and made his pleasure known in a post on Truth Social.

“I am pleased to report that the United States Supreme Court has just ruled in favor of the Ballroom/Military Complex being built without any further contingency, doubt, or threat. We are living in the Golden Age of America, and this Building will be one of the Greatest ever constructed in Washington, D.C. When completed in the Summer of 2028, the magnificent Ballroom and Military Complex will be something that the entire Country is very proud of,” Trump wrote.

Trump boasted that the project was “under budget and ahead of schedule.”

“The Project, despite the baseless lawsuit brought by the so-called National Trust for Historic Preservation of the United States, which is not in any way affiliated with the United States Government, is under budget and ahead of schedule. The Ballroom is totally funded by Great Patriots and Corporations and, therefore, is a Gift — At no cost to the American Taxpayer. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump added.

There is also a practical matter involved.

Resistance judges in lower courts are entertaining any and all lawsuits brought by Democrats to stop every aspect of Trump’s agenda.

The courts demanding that Trump not build a ballroom because a liberal activist is mad is a way to provoke Trump into simply ignoring the courts.

Courts have no actual power to enforce their decisions.

Judges don’t control the powers of the purse of the police.

Those belong to the legislative and executive branches.

And if lawless and rogue leftist lower court judges continue to act as if they are the President’s boss, Trump will stop listening to them, and the judicial branch will fade into irrelevancy.
