A trusted conservative pick just delivered a gut punch.
Conservatives keep getting the same establishment betrayal.
Amy Coney Barrett drew comparisons to Ketanji Brown Jackson, and conservatives will hate it.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Barrett became the latest in a long line of Republican Supreme Court nominees to present themselves as conservatives during the confirmation process, only to reveal themselves as liberals once they began issuing opinions.
In 2024, Barrett sided with the liberals in trying to allow Democrat prosecutors to jail Trump before the election.
After Trump took office, she also sided with the left in striking down Trump’s reciprocal tariffs.
Barrett saved her worst betrayals for last.
At the end of the Supreme Court’s term, Barrett and Chief Justice John Roberts linked up with the court’s three liberal justices to allow endless counting of mail-in ballots that arrive after Election Day and to state that birthright citizenship for babies of illegal aliens was a Constitutional right.
The birthright citizenship case served as the breaking point for conservatives, who had to accept that Barrett was a closet liberal.
Daily Wire pundit Matt Walsh slammed Barrett as a “DEI hire” who is no “better than Ketanji Brown Jackson.”
“It turns out that Amy Coney Barrett is a DEI hire, little better than Ketanji Jackson. Terrible pick,” Walsh wrote on X. “When’s the last time we had a Republican president who didn’t put a liberal justice on the court?”
Trump picked Barrett in large part due to her gender, as establishment Republicans like Mitch McConnell convinced Trump that the Senate could only confirm a female judge to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg after she passed away weeks before the 2020 election.
Walsh added that future Republican Presidents must avoid identity-politics-based Supreme Court selections.
The worst Supreme Court Justices of all time have all been women. That’s just a fact. Republican presidents should take the hint. https://t.co/hMHwMBVx5J

While the Supreme Court did rule that illegal alien babies get birthright citizenship, it never said Trump must allow them into the country in the first place.
Walsh ticked off several actions Trump could take unilaterally to remove illegal aliens from the country or prevent pregnant illegal aliens from entering the country in the first place.
“Now that SCOTUS has opened the floodgates for foreign invaders to flock across our borders and spawn, the only choice we have is to triple down on immigration enforcement. Militarize the border. Mass deportations. Round up every illegal. Don’t pull back when the lesbian activists start screeching about it. Use whatever force is necessary. There is no other option,” Walsh added.
