President Trump wanted to stop any chance that Democrats could resort to their old tricks in the 2026 election.

That led to one bold move.

And now Trump dropped the hammer on this nefarious Democrat plot to let illegal aliens vote.

President Trump fired the remaining members of the Election Assistance Commission.

Trump axed two Democrats, and the one Republican was allowed to resign.

President George W. Bush created the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) in 2002 when he signed the Help America Vote Act.

2 Republicans and 2 Democrats were supposed to serve on the commission.

Mediaite reports that “The EAC trains election officials in new voting technology, manages the national mail voter registration form, and oversees a testing and certification program for voting machines.”

The commission’s membersTrump’s conflict with the EAC arose when the members of the commission refused to enforce a March 2025 executive order requiring proof of citizenship on voter registration forms.

A White House statement explained that Trump was exercising his power, which was confirmed in a recent Supreme Court case, to fire executive branch officials who didn’t act in accordance with his agenda.

“The President, and head of the Executive Branch, reserves the right to remove individuals who may not be totally aligned with the important task of securing America’s elections and ensuring every legal vote is counted. The Slaughter decision gives the President precedence to do so,” the statement read.

The administration went on to reiterate that rooting out voter fraud and preventing noncitizens from casting votes was central to preserving democracy since every illegal vote cast disenfranchises a legal voter.

“The Administration from the start has been working across all agencies and local partners to safeguard elections from fraud and abuse, and investing in a strong infrastructure to sustain that mission, especially in the midterm elections,” the statement went on to explain.

Trump and his supporters would argue that Trump had no choice but to fire the members of the EAC.

What reason would the Democrat members have to sabotage an executive order requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote if they didn’t want to encourage noncitizens to vote in the midterm election?

Conservatives also argue this highlights the failure of Senate Republicans to eliminate the filibuster and pass the SAVE Act, which would codify Trump’s executive order mandating proof of citizenship to register to vote into law.

The SAVE Act would also require voter ID to cast a ballot, and it would ban mass mail-in voting.

In short, it would terminate election fraud and guarantee the sanctity of elections and the ballot.

The establishment in both parties is derailing Trump’s election integrity agenda, and millions of Americans are wondering why that is the case.
