Fox News is out with its latest poll about the midterm elections.

The numbers are startling.

And President Trump will go nuclear when he sees this unthinkable Fox News poll result.

The latest Fox News survey of voters shows Democrats holding a seven-point edge on the generic ballot question on which party Americans want in control of Congress.

The poll showed Democrats holding the edge over Republicans on every key issue – including immigration – except crime, on which voters favored Republicans.

“Voters say Democrats can better handle income inequality (+22 points), healthcare (+21), inflation (+10), the economy (+9), and foreign policy (+7).  Republicans hold the advantage on crime (+7 points), while government spending (Democrats +3) and national security (R +2) are more evenly divided. On immigration, the GOP had an 8-point edge in April. Now, Democrats are preferred by one point,” Fox News also reported of the poll’s result.

Fox News’s survey also found Democrats were more fired up to vote than Republicans.

“More Democrats (68%) say they are extremely motivated to vote in November than Republicans (57%) by an 11-point margin,” Fox News’s report went on to say.

A silver lining for Republicans was that the MAGA base was almost as fired up as Democrats to vote, but non-MAGA Republicans were less inclined to turn out, which is how Democrats grew their lead.

“By a 25-point spread, more MAGA Republicans (66%) are extremely motivated than non-MAGA Republicans (41%),” Fox News wrote.

A 6-7 point Democrat margin in November means Democrats would win the House and potentially win back the Senate.

“Although these data look promising for the Democrats, some of their support is in less-contested districts, padding their national totals without adding House seats,” Fox News pollster Daron Shaw stated. “The best estimates I’ve seen suggest the GOP could retain the House even if the Democrats win the national vote by 2-3 points, but if Democrats win by 6-7 points, they probably take the House.”

The poll did show one area of agreement between Democrats and Republicans, and that’s the idea that America’s system is rigged in favor of elites.

“Democrats and Republicans have a surprisingly broad array of shared beliefs about politics today,” Shaw added. “Both think elected officials answer to the elites, both think the system is rigged, both want to see new blood in office, both feel betrayed by their party, both disapprove of their members in Congress, and both want a mandatory retirement age for Congress.”

The poll showed that if Republicans want to win in 2026 and 2028, they need to double down on the Trump message of outsiders campaigning against a rigged system to drain the swamp.

“At the same time, an increasing number, 65%, think the country’s system is rigged in favor of the wealthy (up 9 points compared to 2019).” Fox News added.Overall, 19% say they want revolutionary change in the nation’s government, while many others want substantial (38%) or dramatic (23%) change.
