President Trump just lost the most important Supreme Court case of his term in office,

The ruling left most conservatives red with rage.

But this Fox News star cheered a Supreme Court ruling that stabbed Trump in the back.

Radio host and Fox News commentator Hugh Hewitt likes to hold himself out as one of the deans of conservative media.

But Hewitt has always supported amnesty for illegal aliens.

And Hewitt was the lone voice on the right praising a Supreme Court decision enshrining birthright citizenship for babies born to illegal aliens into the Constitution as a fundamental right.

In an appearance on Fox News, Hewitt gushed over Chief Justice John Roberts’ majority opinion opening the floodgates for illegal aliens to rush the border so they can give birth to American citizens with full access to welfare benefits and voting.

“The chief justice has hit it out of the park on the birthright citizenship issue,” Hewitt exclaimed. “We finally had a decision that lays to rest this endless debate that text, history, and tradition in fact affirm: if you’re born in the United States, you’re a citizen.”

Roberts tortured logic, history, and the actual text of the Constitution to claim that the framers of the 14th Amendment meant that the intention to guarantee that newly freed slaves were American citizens was also meant to hand a citizenship loophole to illegal aliens.

“Citizenship, then and now, was the right to have rights— to participate in our political community freely. The Framers of the Fourteenth Amendment extended that promise to ‘every free-born person in this land,’” Roberts wrote. “We keep that promise today.”

Conservatives believe Clarence Thomas’s dissent was much more persuasive, in which he called out the birth tourism scam for what it was.

“Some took advantage of the Executive Branch’s recent policy of granting citizenship to anyone born on American soil. The policy encouraged ‘birth tourism’—the practice of traveling here with temporary authorization solely to give birth and obtain citizenship for one’s children, then returning to raise them in another country,” Thomas stated. “Today, ‘birth tourism companies’ reportedly collect large fees from wealthy foreigners to facilitate their trips to give birth in the United States.”

Roberts, Amy Coney Barrett, and the three liberal justices robbed America of its sovereignty by denying the American people the right to decide who gets to become a citizen and under what conditions.

Many conservatives feared the country was lost.

But this likely won’t be the end of the fight.

President Trump can take executive action to block pregnant illegal alien women from entering the country.

Republicans in Congress will push legislative fixes to deny that illegal aliens fall under the 14th Amendment’s jurisdiction.

And conservatives will push to change the court’s composition into a pro-America majority.
