President Trump engaged in a massive fight against the Washington, DC swamp.

Trump banked everything on the outcome.

And John Kennedy said one word to Trump that hit him like a freight train.

Anti-Trump RINO Senators Thom Tillis of North Carolina and John Cornyn of Texas are holding up Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche’s confirmation to the full-time position.

Tillis and Cornyn sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and if they vote against Blanche in committee, the nomination dies.

Tillis and Cornyn’s stated objections are that Blanche won’t assure them he would end Trump’s proposed $1.766 victims fund to compensate Trump supporters persecuted by Joe Biden’s weaponized government and a settlement agreement Trump reached with the IRS after suing the IRS for $10 billion following a contractor illegally releasing his tax returns.

The settlement agreement with the IRS would prevent the agency under a future Democrat administration from launching a politically motivated fishing expedition audit of Trump’s tax returns or those of his family members.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump blasted Tillis and Cornyn for seeking revenge over Trump ousting them from the Senate.

“Todd Blanche is a STAR, and everyone knows it! He has the potential to go down as one of the Greatest Attorney Generals of All Time. However, John Cornyn, of Texas, and Thom Tillis, of North Carolina, both of whom I refused to Endorse, and whose political careers have been ended by my action, are refusing to vote for this Great Nominee, who will remain, in any event, as Acting,” Trump wrote.

Trump announced he would support a primary challenge to Tillis after Tillis opposed the Big Beautiful Bill, leading Tillis to announce his retirement.

And Trump endorsed conservative challenger Texas State Attorney General Ken Paxton against Cornyn after Cornyn backed amnesty and wrote Joe Biden’s gun control bill.

Trump pointed out that both Tillis and Cornyn voted to confirm Merrick Garland, who oversaw two sham indictments against Trump, for Attorney General.

The President also floated the idea of pulling Blanche’s nomination until the next Congress when Tillis and Cornyn would be gone.

“Remember, both Cornyn and Tillis voted for [former Attorney General] Merrick Garland, and others, too numerous to mention. I have no objection to temporarily withdrawing Todd’s name, if they do not do the right thing, and putting him back after Cornyn and Tillis are out of office,” Trump added.

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy told reporters Trump waiting until next Congress to renominate Blanche was “risky.” 

When asked if that was because Kennedy feared Democrats could win control of the Senate, Kennedy replied, “Well, duh. Yeah. Yeah. This place could be very different.’

Fox News’s most recent polling of Senate races confirmed Kennedy’s fears as surveys showed Democrats leading in enough races to win the four seats necessary to claim the majority.

The good news for Trump and the GOP is Fox News’s Senate polling is notoriously inaccurate and year after year shows a bias towards Democrats and understates support for Republican candidates.
