Vice President JD Vance had never encountered anything like this before.
All hell was breaking loose.
And the knives were out for JD Vance before this shocking video changed everything.
Establishment RINOs and warmongers who hoped to trap President Trump into engaging in a regime change war with Iran burst with anger over Trump negotiating a deal to end the war.
While the deal stopped Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, it stopped short of the ground invasion to topple the Iranian regime that neoconservatives hoped would come.
Vice President Vance toured the media to defend Trump’s deal as in line with his America First foreign policy.
One of his stops was Megyn Kelly’s podcast, where Kelly presented Vance with the establishment attacks on the deal.
“If the deal terms are accurate as has been leaked, it’s a complete disaster,” Fox News commentator and former George W. Bush speechwriter Marc Thiessen said.
Kelly also noted that “He’s calling this, by the way, ‘the Vance deal.’”
“I wonder why he doesn’t call it the Trump deal,” Vance quipped.
“I wonder, too,” Kelly replied.
Trying to paint this as Vance’s deal was also the tactic Fox News’s Ben Domenech took, calling it a ‘Hillbilly Obama deal.’”
Neoconservatives like Domenech and Theissen secretly hate Vance and want to see a more establishment figure in the mould of John McCain or Mitt Romney lead the GOP in 2028.
They are attacking the Iran deal as a way to undermine Vance’s Presidential ambitions and to avoid directly attacking Trump,p because they think if they stay on his good side, they can convince Trump to restart the war.
Kelly also noted that Mark Levin was “rage-tweeting” about the deal, claiming it amounted to U.S. surrender and appeasement.
Vance fired back, l arguing that critics of the deal were echoing the propaganda emanating from the Iranian regime about what the deal contained.
“First of all, why do they believe Iranian propaganda only about one thing—the peace deal? They don’t seem to believe Iranian propaganda, and rightfully so, about anything else,” Vance began.
“If you’re in the position of endorsing Iranian propaganda only when it’s related to this peace deal, then maybe you should check yourself a little bit and question your sources,” Vance added.
Kelly then played a clip for Vance of Commentary Editor John Podhoretz, a leading neoconservative, who ranted that Trump “choked” and “chickened out” because he didn’t order boots on the ground into Iran.

Vance remarked that Podhoretz admitted he didn’t care about American casualties or high gas prices; he was just wedded to his ideological project of regime change in Iran, a goal Trump never said was on the table.
“He wants boots on the ground and casualties in a country of 95 million people where, again, the President of the United States never said that his goal was to install Reza Pahlavi to become the new leader of Iran,” Vance declared.
Vance explained that Trump believes in limited and well-defined military missions with a clear objective, going on to say that once the President’s national security team informed him that the goal of depriving Iran of a nuclear weapon was accomplished, Trump authorised negotiations to end the war.
“And once we got to the point where people were saying, yes, we feel like we are in a much stronger position; we feel like their nuclear program is destroyed; we feel like their conventional military, it’s going to be impossible for them to rebuild it for very, very many years—he said, “Okay. Then I want you to go and negotiate a deal that transforms the Middle East,” Vance concluded.
Endless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan exhausted Americans, destroyed Presidencies, and bankrupted the nation.
President Trump was determined to avoid those mistakes.
