President Trump was mad as hell.
Trump didn’t keep his unhappiness to himself.
And Trump just exploded on Fox News over one military secret getting out.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Trump for the eighth time since Trump took office when he went to the White House following Lindsey Graham’s funeral.
Netanyahu’s trip came at a fraught time for both himself and Israel as polls show an increasing number of Americans are holding unfavorable views of Israel and oppose the war in Iran.
A recent Pew survey showed 60 percent of Americans hold an unfavorable view of Israel.
POLITICO’s poll found just one-third of the MAGA base thought the Iran War was worth the economic cost.
Trump recently paused military strikes on Iran to give peace negotiations room to try and reach a deal.
Netanyahu came to the White House to present intelligence that Iran was reconstituting its nuclear program at the Pickaxe Mountain site.
“Israel has uncovered proof that nuclear centrifuges recently arrived at the secretive Pickaxe Mountain fortress for the first time since its construction began in 2020,” the New York Post reported. “The base, which lies more than 300 feet beneath the Kolang Mountain near the Natanz nuclear facility, has long been suspected of being a part of Iran’s atomic program. “
In an interview on Fox & Friends, Trump expressed annoyance with Netanyahu, telling co-host Ainsley Earhardt that Netyanhu just wanted to drag Trump back into the war.
“Well, I don’t need Bibi to tell me that,” Trump stated. “Bibi is telling me that because he wants me to stay involved,” Trump replied.
Trump added that America had the finest intelligence gathering operation on the planet and if Iran was rebuilding its nuclear program, America wouldn’t need another country to inform them.
“We have the finest – because of Space Force – we have the greatest cameras in the world focused on it. We know exactly what is going on,” Trump continued.
Trump was also aggravated that Netanyahu eliminated the element of a surprise attack on the facility by making it known that America and Israel knew what Iran was up to.
“But, no, I heard Bibi announce that; I said why not just tell me? Why announce it to the world?” Trump added.
Trump told Earhardt he was already aware of what was taking place at Pickaxe Mountain and would take action if necessary.
“I know what is going on at Pickaxe Mountain; it’s not a big problem. We took out their nuclear sites, and we’ll have to take out Pickaxe if we don’t make a deal. If we don’t make a deal, we’ll take it out very easily,” Trump concluded.
Trump has expressed growing frustration with Netanyahu trying to insert himself into American matters.
The President ripped Netanyahu for opposing a deal Trump negotiated to sell F-35 fighter planes to Turkey, a NATO ally.
“Nobody tells me what we should be selling or not,” Trump declared. “Turkey has been a tremendous ally for me. Turkey’s not a big fan of Israel … and not a big fan of Bibi.”
Before the war, Netanyahu made a presentation in the White House Situation Room about how going to war with Iran would lead to the Iranian people rising and toppling the regime, a prediction Trump’s intelligence chiefs later called “bull****.”
Trump’s goal for the war was ending Iran’s nuclear program.
Israel’s was ending the Iranian regime.
Those goals are diverging, and the tension between Netanyahu and Trump is growing.
